Mohammed Bashir yesterday announced that his taxi firm Boro Taxi’s was no longer transporting disabled passengers in a row over fairs which ripped off disabled passengers.

He had been charging them double and sending a mini bus to transport them.

Now a facebook page called Boycott Boro Taxi’s has been set up and within 24 hours has attracted over 11 thousand people.

The company was then subjected to a national Debate on LBC 973 which echoed the views of thousands of Teessiders who feel that the company is discriminating against disabled people.

in recent years a bus company was sued for not keeping spaces free on buses to accommodate disabled passengers.
