Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a Saab 93 and a 74-year-old female pedestrian.

The collision happened at around 9.30am on Thursday 16th January at the junction of Wilton Lane and De Brus Way, Guisborough.

The 74-year-old woman suffered a fractured pelvis and spine and was detained in James Cook University Hospital.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to PC Amanda Stokes from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting event number 8091.
