Teesside Emergency services showed of their skills of successfully managing a major incident across the Cleveland Police Force area, Cleveland Police throughout yesterday released good information to ensure all of Teesside was kept informed while senior officers headed up a Gold Command centre at the forces headquarters on Ladgate Lane Middlesbrough.

Officers on the ground who worked extra time to ensure we were kept safe, were extremely busy throughout the day and through the evening as a number of major flooding was reported, trees toppled, chimneys toppled along with roofs of schools coming crashing down.

The force was assisted by the air support unit which sent a downlink to senior officers in the force control room, while news channels and social media was monitored to allow senior planning officers to Coordinate an excellent response keeping the people of Teesside safe in dangerous conditions.

Cleveland Police successfully managed yesterdays incident response, along with other agencies including Cleveland Fire Bridge.
