Suspicious male praying on Elderly for water

Police Scotland are making enquiries into reports of a male attending at Elderly persons addresses at Sheltered housing in Dykehead Place, Dundee both on the 8th and 9th December 2013.

The male has been asking residents to let him into their house so he can have a drink of water and it is believed once within he will look for valuables to steal. Police Scotland would remind people to not allow anyone they don’t know into their home address.

Genuine callers will be happy to produce identification to prove who they are and why they are calling.

Police are looking to trace this male he is described as a white male, late 30’s, 5’7-5’9, medium build, dark hair with a Dundee accent wearing a flat cap and dark anorak.
