Police are dealing with a number of road traffic collisions across the county and are urging motorists to drive accordingly to the deteriorating conditions.

At 12.45pm Police were called following a two vehicle road traffic collision near Burton Services on the M6 Southbound.

Police were called at 12.51pm following a one vehicle road traffic collision where a car collided with the central reservation on the M6 Southbound at Orton.

Police were called at 12.58pm following a one vehicle road traffic collision where a car collided with the central reservation on the M6 Southbound at Kendal.

Police were called at 1.09pm following a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A65 at Cowbrow, between the M6 and Kirkby Lonsdale.

There are no serious injuries in any of the four collisions however Police want to take this opportunity ask motorists to drive to the weather conditions and not to the speed limit. With the snow and hail in some parts of the county, roads can become icy and motorists are asked to drive with care.

No roads are closed however on the M6 certain parts are down to two lanes.
