Malton mountain bike stolen – can you help?

Police in Malton are appealing for information following the theft of a mountain bike near the town.

It occurred between 5pm and 7pm on Saturday 21 December 2013, when the bike , which had been left securely locked, was stolen from outside the Hare and Hounds Pub, Staxton.

The Specialized Hardrock mountain bike, which is red with black and white writing on the frame, is valued at approximately £700.

PC Mel Pitchford, of Malton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you saw the bike being stolen or have been offered one matching its description since the theft, I urge you to contact the police straight away.”
