Police are currently at the scene of an incident in Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire following what Breaking News believes to be a serious incident.

Police have been at the scene of the crime since the early hours of this morning, following reports of a disturbance in which a female is reported to gave been rushed to hospital and remains in a stable condition following the incident.

Police then made the discovery of a male body close to the scene of the disturbance, it is unknown if the two incidents are connected however a police cordon remains in place.

We are awaiting further information from Police Scotland.
