Houses evacuated as Heavy Rain causes landslide

Police in Dundee are dealing with a serious incident caused by heavy rain in Dundee.

Heavy rain has caused a landslide and a wall to collapse to the rear of properties in Gardner Street, Dundee.

Emergency services attended the incident shortly after 4pm, with a number of properties evacuated as a safety precaution.

City Engineers are currently surveying the damage.

Police have told Breaking News Police that no one has been injured.

Gardner Street and Rankine Street are currently closed to all pedestrian and vehicle traffic with diversions in place.
