Malton police are appealing for information after a theft of fuel near the town.

It happened at a bungalow on Eastfield, Foxholes, on Wednesday 18 December 2013, when around 200 litres of heating oil was stolen.

PC Louise Beck, of Malton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “if you saw any unusual vehicles or people acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the of theft, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.”

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact Malton police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Louise Beck.
