Weatherman Fred Talbot has been released on Police bail following a second allegation of historic sex abuse.

He was arrested on suspicion of indecent assault.

63-year-old Talbot was held over the suspicion of indecent assaults yesterday after an allegation of five assaults on five former pupils at Alterincham Grammer School for Boys in Greater Manchester was made to police.

Talbot was also held for another incident which is reported to have occurred in the North East.

Talbot was first held by Police on 9th April over the allegations of school pupils, he was re-arrested yesterday and has been bailed until 27th January.

Police have confirmed No Further Action is to be taken over his arrest on the 9th April.
