Roads continue to be affected across the county, with more trees falling in the area, causing a number of roads to be blocked.

In addition to previous releases, further incidents are being reported in the following areas:

· 50 mph speed restriction on the M6

· A591 road blocked just past Wythburn junction due to falling trees

· Tree blocking the road at Yanwath, Penrith near to the Gate Inn

· Road blocked between Dean and Ullock due to fallen tree

· Road partially blocked at Borrowdale Road, Keswick, due to fallen tree

People are continued to advised to be careful when out in Cumbria today. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of debris on the roads.
