A murder investigation has been launched by Police following the discovery of the bodies of a woman and her husband found in there Southall home.

Police attended the address at 3.10pm on friday 28 November in Priory Way, Western Road, Southall.

Neighbours had raised concerns for the welfare of the couple, upon arrival police made the grim discovery of the two bodies named as Sanjeev Kumar, 36 and Poonam, 35 who does not have a family name.

A post mortem examination of the man has revealed that the cause of death was suspension caused by hanging.

Police confirm compression of the neck caused the woman’s death.
