Bikes worth £15,000 stolen in stockton raid

Police are appealing for information after 12 specialist bikes worth a total of around £15,000 were stolen from Stockton Cycling and Running shop at around 7:55pm on Wednesday 11th December.

Thieves have entered Clayton Court on Bowesfield Crescent in a transit style van, cut through a metal fence at the side of the shop and forced entry to steal the bikes. The bikes have been loaded into the van and the thieves have driven off.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has been offered a bike for sale that is similar to the ones stolen is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
