Detectives investigating an armed robbery which occurred at Cwmgors mini market shortly before 10pm on Thursday 19th December have released CCTV images of the person they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The male suspect entered the store and stole a quantity of cash from the till after threatening a member of staff.

The man who was arrested on Friday afternoon has since been released.

An investigation into the incident is continuing.

Anyone who recognises the person in the CCTV images or who may have any information about the incident should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting occurrence number 62130397601.
