Police Scotland are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of a 23-year-old prisoner who failed to return to HMP Castle Huntly, by Dundee, following a period of home leave.
Michael McInnes failed to return to the prison when expected to on Wednesday, December 4 after being granted a period of temporary home release to an address in Glasgow. He is believed to frequent the Glenluce area in Wigtownshire and the Bellshill area of Glasgow.
He is described as six foot tall, with short brown hair and has a star tattoo on his neck behind both ears.
Anyone who has seen him, or who knows where he is, should call Police Scotland on 101, or speak to any police officer.
