£50,000 worth of high value cars stolen

DETECTIVES are appealing for information after three high quality used cars were stolen from a car garage in Blackpool.

Between 9pm and 10.30pm on Sunday 29 December, burglars broke into the Blackpool Automart opposite the Honda garage on Lytham St Annes Way.

They stole a white Audi S Line, black Golf GTD, silver Mercedes C320 valued in total around £50,000.

DC Mark Anson said: “We do believe these vehicles were stolen to order and think at least four people were involved. I would appeal to anyone with any information about the burglary to come forward.

“If anyone saw anybody acting suspiciously in the area on the night in question or in the days prior to the burglary please contact us.

There was a similar burglary on 7 October this year where a Vauxhall Vivaro van and an Audi RS6 were stolen from the same garage.

It happened between 10pm and 11.10pm and police are also appealing for information about that burglary.

DC Anson added: “I am appealing to anybody with information about either burglary to come forward. I am also keen to speak with anyone who has any information which could lead to the recovery of the vehicles.”

Anybody with any information can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
