CCTV images of a man who assaulted a young woman on a train in Scotland have been released by police.

The woman was travelling on a train from Perth to Inverness on Saturday, June 8 between 1.00pm and 1.30pm when208270-british-transport-police-are-keen-to-speak-to-a-man-who-introduced-himself-to-the-victim-of-an-assau attacked.

British Transport Police are keen to speak to a man who introduced himself to the victim as Mike or Mikey McCoy and anyone who witnessed the incident.

Detective Constable Donna Davanna, the officer in charge of the enquiry, said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man in the photograph to contact me.”

Anyone with any information should contact British Transport Police on 0800 405040 or by texting 61016 quoting reference B7 of 19/11/2013. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
