Police continue to investigate a shooting incident were a 15 year old boy remains in a critical condition.

On 21 November 2013 at 11:17 pm, police were called to Ulpha, Broughton in Furness after an incident had occurred where two men and a boy were shooting on farm land, with the permission of the owner.

A 15 year old boy from the local area was shot and remains in the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.

A man, aged 35 from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm and continues to help police with their enquiries.

The other man in his forties was not injured and has not been arrested.

None of the people were related
