Police are appealing for information after two men attempted to rob a 15-year-girl as she walked alone on Wilson Street in Hartlepool.

The girl was approached by two men, one of whom pinned her against an alley gate whilst demanding her phone and money at around 4.40pm on Wednesday 6th November.

The other male stood close by and both made off empty handed.
The first suspect is described as a white male, aged around 18-years-old and around 5ft 5” tall with unkempt brown hair. He was wearing a red hooded Adidas jacket and black jogging bottoms.

The second suspect is described as a white male, also aged around 18-years-old, around 6ft 1” tall with short, dark hair which was shaved at the sides. He was of skinny build with a freckled complexion, wearing a dark blue jacket and grey jogging bottoms with two yellow stripes up each leg.

Anyone with information or anyone who may know the identity of the males is asked to contact PC Michael Harland of Hartlepool Police on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
