Two men have appeared at Cannock Magistrates court in connection with a burglary.

Adam Tony Morris Aged 31 of Mounth Road, Wordsley and 37 Year old Craig Anthony Davies of no fixed address have both been remanded in custody and will appear before Stafford Crown Court on 29th November.

It is suspected that both men broke into a house on Woodhaven in Cannock on Wednesday 6th November and then drove stole two high value watches and the keys to a Porsche Cayman Car, it is then alleged they drove away, The car was fitted with a tracker and it was located a few hours later in the Dudley area.

A 34-year-old woman was also arrested and was released on police bail pending further enquiries.

DS Beverley Alger said: “This was a fantastic piece of work by officers from our Threat And Risk Team. The car was recovered within three hours of it being reported missing and the offenders arrested very quickly, too.

“I’d like to say thank you to the members of the local community who came forward with CCTV to assist the investigation; we are very grateful for their help. “
