Mark Logan, 41 from Wensum Lea, Barrow, has today been sentenced to seven and a half years in prison at Preston Crown Court.
Logan was convicted of five counts of sexual offences against four girls all aged between 12 years and 18 years old.
Logan pleaded not guilty to the offence. Logan committed the offences in march, all of the offences were report to the Police quickly and he was quickly arrested.
DC Joel Williams, who lead the investigation, said: “The offences committed by Logan are despicable, and I am pleased that he is now facing prison for his crimes.
“His actions will have a lasting impact on his victims and their families, as they come to terms with what happened. By pleading not-guilty he subjected the victims to the further ordeal of a two week trial.
“The victims were very brave to come forward and report these offences, and I urge anyone who has suffered any form of abuse to come forward. We investigate all allegations of sexual abuse thoroughly, professionally and sensitively.”
