A prisoner has gone on the run after escaping while on a supervised home visit to see a relative in Ayrshire.
Sean McGregor was under the supervision from security firm G4S, when he escaped.
A prisoner was visiting a relative in Patna, near Maybole, in East Ayrshire, at around 1.30pm on Thursday when he went he managed to get free. Scottish Police say ‘McGregor is a danger to the public’.
Do not approach him.
McGregor, who was serving a four-year sentence for robbing The Dog Food Shop in Dundee in 2011, may “present a danger to the public”, police said.
Police Scotland released an image of the 31-year-old in a bid to trace him after he absconded on Thursday afternoon.
