Professor Green was detained by police after reporting for bail on Monday (November 25). He has been bailed until the New Year as enquiries continue

“A 29-year-old was arrested for attempting to pervert the course of justice after reporting for bail,” said a police spokesperson.

“He is bailed to a date in January pending further inquires.”

He was taken into custody on November 3, after police found his Mercedes and a van had been involved in a minor crash.

Green is thought to have contacted the police himself, after he was allegedly mugged for his Rolex watch outside his house.
