Police are appealing for help to trace missing 36-year-old Anthony Turner who left Roseberry Park hospital at around 7pm on 22nd Nov.

He is described as wearing a blue hooded top, dark grey trousers, black trainers and a green coat. He has short hair and is of large build. If anyone sees Anthony they are asked not to approach him but call police on 999.

Police are concerned for his welfare and a number of officers are currently on the ground searching for him.

Officers are also looking into a report that a man got into a local taxi on Marton Road at around 7pm on 22nd November and demanded to be taken to Bankfields. The taxi driver was verbally threatened by the man, who eventually got out of the taxi near to Normanby Road.

Anyone who believes they know of Anthony’s whereabouts is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 999.

UPDATE: Police confirm he has been located safe and well.
