Nazo Brahenaj has been jailed for five years following being convicted of rape.

Brahenaj aged 21 of no fixed address, was handed a custodial sentence yesterday for his offence, at Preston Crown Court following his rape conviction.

Brahenaj jas also been added to to sex offender’s register for life/

Brahenaj committed rape in the early hours of the 19th May 2013 at his home address in Chorley.

DC Ian Marsh from Lancashire Constabulary’s Public Protection Unit said: “I am pleased with the guilty verdict and that Brahenaj is now behind bars.
“Thanks to the strength of the victim in giving her evidence, this dangerous man is now off the streets. I hope the victim is now able to move on from this ordeal.”
