A Middlesbrough man aged 41 is due to appear in court today to face charges of Murder following the murder of 70 year old Rose Doughty.

A local man remains in Police Custody following being charged with the murder.

Police confirm a post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday revealed that rose suffered stab wounds.

Police Crime Scene Officers are still carrying out a forensic examination in the property in Fosdyke Green.
