Police have confirmed the identity of a man found in a well is still unknown.

The body which was discovered by workmen is believed to have been down the well for two years, it was tied to a carpet.

Although police believe the death was as a result of an assault, they still don’t know the cause of death or In fact who the man is.

Police are now searching missing peoples records in an attempt to trace his identity.
