A large number of lanterns are set to be released tonight to remember one of Teesside’s finest singers.

People will gather at various locations around Teesside at 8pm tonight, Georgina’s music will be played as the lanterns are lit and set off into the nights sky.

Georgina succeeded her dream to have her YouTube song listened too 100’000 times and sadly lost her battle with cancer aged just 15.

A number of people will gather at Stockton Infinity Bridge at the Durham University side and at the stay carpal in Marske.

Family and friends of Georgina will be in attendance.

If you are attending the event please send Teesside incidents your photos for publication via facebook or email [email protected]
