Robert Hunter, of Brough Court, Grove Hill, Middlesbrough, has admitted 30 sex crimes against young girls over a 2 year period.

The girls were aged between 11 and 14 with one being from Tasmania who was the original complainant to come forward and expose Hunter’s depraved ways. There were 10 girls in total all of which were videoed via webcam by Hunter.

A video of a young boy was also found on his computer which appeared to have been used to con the girls into responding to it in the same way. He also used threats of blackmail towards the girls which were very unpleasant.

He was remanded in custody until September 16th for pre-sentencing reports and will be placed on the sex offenders register.
