Hartlepool Emergency Services dealing with train incident.

Emergency Services in Hartlepool are currently dealing with a policing incident on the rail network.

Police have closed Middleton Bridge in Hartlepool, with on trains on the track below cancelled.

an eyewitness from Hartlepool has told breaking news that a male from the near by hospital Sandwell Park had ran over the road and jumped down the side of the bridge on Middleton Road.

The eyewitness then told breaking news the male just laid down on the tracks. after that all the emergency services began arriving very quickly.

The incident is still ongoing which has caused a number of road closures and delays on the rail network between Sunderland and Middlesbrough in both directions.
