Girls face man slaughter charges over firefighters dead

Two unnamed teenage girls are believed to be responsible for the fire at Paul’s Hair World in the centre of Manchester.

The two girls have been arrested and will face charges of Manslaughter.

In criminal law this means that the consequences of death have been foreseen as a responsible outcome of starting the fire.

Recently Mick and Mairead Philpott convicted of manslaughter over Derby house fire.

Firefighter Stephen Hunt sadly lost his life following the fire, another firefighter remains in hospital.
