Facebook to block pictures and films of child abuse

Today Internet companies have agreed that they would now begin to searching for images of child abuse and take them down much faster to prevent websites that are used by Paedophiles.

Many internet giants meet in London including Facebook agreeing that online pictures and films of online child abuse would be blocked.

Facebook, Twitter, Google, BT and many more companies were summoned to the houses of Parliament for a Culture Secretary Maria Miller to decide what action to take on the issue.

  1. Why has it taken so long? Do you honestly think with all the years behind them doing this that the chances of finding enough sites to make a serious impact are very remote.Or will take about 50 yrs to sort out.
